I have been a regular visitor to chennai since 2007 but the travel has always been fairly easy & comfortable in cars .And I always used to love the busy and alive city for no reason. There was something new- whether it is road side shopping of T-Nagar or whole sale market hub sowcarpet or the crowded marina beach. But everything was easy and accessible because of the people around me.
Hence to add a little spice to my life I decided to come out from the comfort zone and decided to roam around and see places. The first time to travel in an MTC bus from Nungambakkam to Anna nagar and back to velachery ((Hub of IT Indusries)).
The total seat capacity in an MTC bus is 25 ; 48 standees plus a driver & conductor. And to my surprise I traveled during the peak hour & here is a look at the bus
Still the bus stops in many places and I wonder where to get in ???Inclusive of those hanging outside the bus has definitely crossed the standards
And here are few lessons that I learned from my Travel
Lessons 1 -Never travel in an MTC at least during the peak hours when you have better options like share autos and especially when you have to reach on time in Office
Lesson 2 - Ladies, always hold one hand to the rail but definitely the other on your handbag because you never know when/who/how will pick pocket your bag.
Lesson 3 -Always come and stand in front of the door at-least 3 stops ahead to get down otherwise you might get Jam packed inside the crowd.
Lesson 4- Be prepared to run in any direction to get into the bus because the bus never stops at a proper bus stop .

Freaked out-An incomplete post
Some days are good, some are bad, some are just rejuvenating and exciting while some days just goes off like that. Everyday morning I look into the mirror and give myself a big smile –sometimes even those smiles speaks different languages to me: the unwillingness to smile, the forced smile and the natural smile. It’s absolutely wonderful to see how our mind works and the way we react to same things on different days. Yes I am talking about the different mood swings in my life. Strange nah???? Same situations-Different reactions-Different emotions-Different moods. Looking back on few things Sometimes I feel funny about myself & how strangely I react to the lightest situations
I came to a new city for my Job leaving behind everything I had only very few caring and dear people around me. It’s strange you start sharing and building an emotional bond with someone whom you really trust and they suddenly leaves nothing except a void space. Life changes when you blink and open your eyes. By the time I got adjusted to the new life & changed myself for a good cause I reached the other corner of the world with so many people around me but -unknown faces.
And those moments when you realize that you are so much dependent & alone……whoosh!!!!!! Those feelings are really sulky. You start thinking that Life would have been much easier when nobody bothers about your existence and you start living an independent life just perfectly happy with the way how it works.
I am kind off getting a feel that most of my posts are becoming completely weird & absurd. But I had to vent it out.But Kiddos to me!!!! I never realized I could write so many things.
Oh lalala lalaa :-)
